Notes I completed the first draft of Synaesthesia in 1999 but it's origins date back over to the early 1990's and an Ensoniq ESQ-1 synth composition. The 1999 version was compiled using a Yamaha SY-85 synthesizer but I always wanted to do more and aim for a richer quality sound. After completing work on Noise Station in 2001 I started reproducing the music on Synaesthesia from scratch and after almost a year, the album was complete. The music is a rich melodic soundscape, a story of a journey from birth to death. The music can vary in style but it is all designed to evoke images and stimulate the senses. Synaesthesia is a melodic work that doesn't rely heavily on sound effects or technology. Everyone who has heard it loves at least one track and as a tribute to its variety, it seems to be a different track each time.
