Stupid Computer Music Cover

Notes
Stupid Computer Music is a sort of "best of" album, a collection of some of my best computer game themes, plus several unreleased studio tunes from past and present.

The music is all catchy and melodic. Tracks include Hamster Run which was written for Animalia but unused, and China Syndrome, the melody of which dates back a decade or more and was the intended theme to Martian Rover Patrol II, a game which was never realised.

Moods on the album vary, and the track order was carefully selected to give an entire album experience. Delicate tracks like Coma and Lost Child slow down the pace and help reinforce the tracks closer to contemporary dance like Galoppade and Journey Through Fractional Space.

Technical details
The earliest recording is Binary Race from April 2002, then created using my Noise Station 1 software. Trying to compile an album with a coherant feel that spans six years was not easy but I think I have succeeded.

"Opening with the insanely catchy China Syndrome, this album is a showcase proving that music for computer games doesn't have to be insular and clichéd - in truth, this album is a prime selection of electro-pop instrumentals that would give any 80's knob twiddler a run for their money. Gunstorm, the only vocal track, could be a ringer for classic Erasure and a #1 pop single if there was any justice in this world." Full Review...
