Dear Subscriber,
The latest album by Mark Sheeky, Stupid Computer Music, is now on sale.
The music is a collection of the best Cornutopia game themes, extended remixes and previously unreleased studio tracks with a similar feel. The music is melodic and commercial, similar perhaps to the chart releases by musicians like Jean-Michel Jarre or Kraftwerk or Mike Oldfield.
CD prices are currently £12.99 including international postage. Downloads in MP3 or FLAC formats are currently £6.99. Each CD order includes an exclusive photo-card of the album cover artwork.
Here are the track details in full:
1. China Syndrome (4:44)
The melody was written for a game called Martian Rover Patrol II but never used. I liked the music though and remastered it for this album.
2. Gunstorm (4:14)
The extended vocal version of the theme song with vocals by the talented singer, and my friend Steven McLachlan.
3. Music For Supermarkets (2:13)
The theme to the limited edition game Outliner.
4. Binary Race (3:12)
The theme to the game Breakout Velocity. This is one of the oldest pieces of music on the album and has a feel of Amiga "chip" music.
5. Taskforce (1:25)
The main title theme to Taskforce.
6. Cyclotrone (2:10)
The theme to Future Pool.
7. Deflexion (1:40)
The theme to the first Gunstorm game, this was written as the theme to a breakout game called Deflexion.
8. Lost Child (1:00)
A quiet and gentle previously unreleased studio track.
9. Yinyang (2:37)
The theme to the game Yinyang
10. Hamster Run (3:09)
A track written for Animalia but not used.
11. Galoppade (4:22)
This joyous dance track is one of the more recent unreleased studio tracks.
12. Coma (1:51)
A thoughtful track about being inside and outside the mind of a comatose hospital patient. This was written for my as yet unreleased album of pop songs, The End and The Beginning.
13. Journey Through Fractional Space (6:05)
A long high speed electro-dance track originally commissioned by a Flatspace II fan.
14. Starflight (3:17)
A joyous high speed game theme, created as a royalty free music track for my sound effects website IndieSFX.

As ever, each sale means a lot to me. My primary motivation is artistic, to create good music and ideally to make enough money to fund future work. I hope that you will primarily love and appreciate the music, but also remember that each order is a token of support for an artist, and for creative independent music.
