Shipwrecked

Loneliness, an island state.
Divinities most secret flaw.
Existence only with the trait
of islands touching shore.

So isolate in numbers for
a million islands span the years
as sandy alcoves slowly pour
away the saline tears.

Another bottle cast to sea.
Another hope cries out its curse
for in the void of waiting we
create our universe.
