Music Ordering Options

I now offer several ordering options for my music. You can download an 256kpbs MP3 version, or an uncompressed FLAC version, or a download using Apple iTunes, or a high quality CD version. Note that not all options are available for each album.

MP3

MP3 download versions cost £5.99 (€8.99, $11.99 US) and are compressed at 256kpbs, constant bit rate. These MP3 files are virtually indistinguishable from CD quality and represent an excellent compromise between sound quality and file size. The links to the individual track files are supplied automatically at the end of the order process.

FLAC

FLAC download versions cost £5.99 (€8.99, $11.99 US). FLAC is a non-lossy compression format, like zip but designed specifically for WAV files. By using a FLAC decoder you can decompress the downloads into CD quality WAV files for maximum quality. The basic FLAC decoder for Windows is a tiny program and free. You can download the Windows version by using this link. On MAC try Max for MP3 and FLAC decoding via this link. The links to the individual track files are supplied automatically at the end of the order process, which for FLAC orders includes a printable jpg of the CD cover artwork.

CD Versions

The CD version costs £12.99 (€19.49, $25.99 US) including postage and packing. CD versions are expensive but high quality. I thought that those who wanted a CD version would prefer to pay a few pounds more for a professionally produced product instead of an inkjet printed version. Note that your CD player must support playing CD-R burned music to play it (almost all CD players do). CD versions include a four page full colour booklet, on disc printing, and a glass-transparent jewel case with double sided printed rear insert.

Postage

Postage and packing is included in the price. CD albums are sent by first class post to any United Kingdom destination, and internationally by airmail.
