Wanted by Calvin Gillespie Sector 14,14: Victor Wolf piloted his freight crawler through space, but he wasn't looking for asteroids. No, Victor Wolf was a pirate looking for anything that looked like a target he could destroy. As a Gladius MkII went by, he open fired on it. After just a short fire-fight, it was over. Just then a police enforcer came by, sirens on. "stinkin' cops." Victor growled. He armed a Razor Torpedo and turned to face the enforcer. "See ya." he said as he loosed the rocket at the cop. It slammed into the side of the ship but it didn't get destroyed. Instead it came at him, firing a machine gun. "Time to go." Victor said, picking a hyperspace destination. Just as he jumped, the officer fired a stun missile, but it was useless. Victor Wolf was gone. Sector 13,15: "That was a close one" Victor said as his ship came into the sector. The sector was a hive of activity; everyone going this way and that, the police were surveying the scene looking for suspicious people. Victor skillfully piloted the ATL-93 "Happy Slayer" through the bustle of all the merchants and traders. Suddenly, Victor stopped and looked around, there! He spotted a cargo king on the fringes. 'No cops…' thought Victor as he turned toward the cargo king. "I could use a little more money." He rushed toward the ship. Victor took a few shots at the massive carrier. The shots hit the ships side. "No shields. Perfect." Victor said as he armed and loosed 3 torpedoes at the ship. They crashed into the hull, tearing a small hole in the side. Victor saw three people who were in the cargo hold get sucked into the vacuum of space. He piloted the Happy Slayer to the back of the cargo king, and began firing shot after shot after shot. One shot hit the thrusters of the cargo ship, rendering it helpless. "Give up you cargo!" Victor said into the radio. "Alright! All right! Just don't shoot!" said the captain, releasing the hold. Cargo poured into space. Victor grabbed what he could, and then shot what he couldn't. "Thank you very much" he said into the radio. Victor then proceeded to open fire on the ship." But you said-" the ships captain was cut off as the carrier erupted into flames, sending debris hurling into space. Sector 13,15: Penitentiary Victor docked the Happy Slayer in the penitentiary's bay. He automatically went towards a cargo shop, selling the items collected from the cargo king; he got $1900 dollars from it. He then went to a weapon shop and bought a cannon. As he left the penitentiary, he spotted a small trader ship, and thought he'd test out his new cannon on it. As the ship started to move, Victor followed, but he soon lost sight of the ship. "Oh well," Said Victor as he set a hyperspace destination. "Maybe later." Sector 14,16: As Victor's ship exited hyperspace in a flash, he realized he had entered a battle. All around him were ships exploding and bolts of plasma flying in all directions. "Maybe this is a good way to get some money" He said to himself "Some of these guys are bound to have a bounty on 'em" He quickly joined the fray. Time after time he fired his cannon at people in the battle, and, people just trying to pass. One of his targets went down. On his console it flashed "Miroyasa Hito executed: bounty paid: $1,250." "About time I get some money" Victor muttered. Suddenly a warning started pulsing on the console. Someone had fired a skyforce at him. " Dang it!" Victor said in frustration. The rocket was streaking towards his ship. Victor quickly found cover behind another ship "why you little-" the pilot said just as the missile crashed into the ship, turning it into scrap metal. Victor heaved a sigh of relief. He was safe, for now. When Victor flew back to the battle, he saw nothing but scrap. He picked up the undamaged cargo and left the rest. If there were any passenger pods, he either vaporized them or hit them with his cannon. Sector 14,16: trading post After Victor had docked and sold his cargo he had gotten, he heard someone yell at him. "Hey wolf!" the guy shouted. " Betcha can't beat me! My ship would tear yours apart!" "Well" Victor said. "I think with you on board, your ship wouldn't be able to keep up" The man looked furious. He took a swing at Victor's head, but he just moved out of the way. He tried again, only this time; Victor ducked then swung a fist into the man's gut. He doubled over and gasped. "Maybe you should think twice about picking fights." Victor said as he started walking back to the docking bay. As he was going he heard "R1 rockets for sale! Cheap!" Victor walked over " how much?" "$8,500" "Fine" Victor said, "I'll take 'em". After fitting the new rockets, he took off, set his hyperspace, and jumped. Sector 15,16: Police station Victor was surprised they had let him on board the station. He had checked the wanted list and there, on the paper, it had said "Victor Wolf: Last seen aboard the ATL-93 happy slayer: sector 14,16. Live capture: $10,500. Dead bounty: 0. LIVE CAPTURE AN ABSOLUTE PRIORITY. " As he left, he was suddenly scanned from two sides and the sounds of two police sirens. They began firing at him "oh, great," he muttered. He circled around them. "Well, this at least gives me a chance to test my rockets." He fired several rockets at the ships. "Victor Wolf! Surrender yourself to the police!" said one of the police. "We will use force!" Victor chuckled. "You'll have to catch me first." He launched a swarm of rockets at one, getting a direct hit. The ship went a few feet, and then went up in flames. The second ship fired at Victor getting a hit on his side. His console flashed red. "Geez!" He hit the ship with enough rockets to take out a carrier. " Take that". Victor primed his ship and launched just as more sirens started to sound. Sector 16,18 Victor came out of hyperspace, almost crashing into another ship. "Move it!" said Victor, shooting down the ship. He targeted the base that was in the sector. It was an Independent Trading Post. "Maybe they have some good weapons or equipment" he said as he set off towards the base. On his way he saw a cargo king. "I think I'll get a bit cash before I dock" He got behind it and opened up on it. "This should be easy" Victor said. All of the sudden the cargo king started shooting-with turrets "Oh, crap" Victor said. The turrets were firing a hail of cannon fire towards his ship. He was maneuvering his ship skillfully, but it was all he could do. "Eat this!" he said, firing his rockets. He called sent out a call to anyone in range. No one answered. After a long fire fight and a few hits later, it was over. With the base targeted, he set off again. At the base he checked out their weapons. There was a minigun for only $12,000. " That is a good deal" Victor said. He sold his rockets and fit the minigun. When he launched, he fired his new weapon. "Man, that sounds sweet" he said as the gun went off. "I'm gonna love this thing". Sector 15,16 Victor got into the sector. He checked if there were any base and there was one. The only base there was a Police Base. Victor went for it. After docking there, he checked his bounty. "geez" he said. His bounty read $150,000 capture. For some odd reason he had no kill bounty. "Better get out of here before the cops get smarter". Back in space, Victor spotted a small Freight Crawler. "your mine" he said. He fired his minigun at the small ship. Suddenly, he started to get fired on by the police base! " Dang it! I was to close!" Victor piloted his ship around and managed to take out the crawler. BANG! A round hit Victors ship. The console was flashing red on his left side and also said "radar damaged". His radar was frozen in place. " Now I think it's time to go" Victor set his target, and then got out of there. Sector 14,17 As Victor exited hyperspace, he remembered that there was a police base in the sector. "That explains the scans. And the sirens." Rockets suddenly came at his ship. " Why are they all shooting at me?!" He saw the ships. One was a police enforcer, while the other was a Willow Wasp. "A pirate and a cop, working together. Never thought I'd see that" He shot at the Willow Wasp with his minigun. The rounds ripped into the side of the small ship, tearing it apart. Now for the enforcer. Just then, the police officer shot a missile at him… and it was a homing missile. "Great, just great." Victor quickly piloted his crawler behind and around the enforcer, hoping the rocket would just hit the cop. The rocket was streaking towards him when it suddenly swerved to the side "What the heck?" Victor murmured to himself. The enforcer suddenly exploded with an ear splitting BOOM! "Your welcome, Wolf" An Axel turbine came into view. "Who the heck are you?" Victor asked. "I'm a pirate, like you. I go around causing chaos and, well, chaos." And just as suddenly he had appeared, he was gone. "What a weirdo" Victor thought. Sector 16,18: Trading Post "Man these are some nice missiles". Victor was admiring a couple of Baker VII rockets. "For you, Wolf, $1,500" the store clerk said. "I'll take 'em" Victor said, handing over $3,000. Leaving the post, Victor headed for the Police Base. Once there he checked his bounty."$215,500: LIVE CAPTURE A PRIORITY" "I'm at the top of the list, and still only a capture bounty." Victor murmured to himself. "Hey! That's Wolf!" A police officer shouted, "Get him!" Victor ran as fast as he could to the docking bay. Getting out into space, several enforcers came out of the base, sirens wailing. Two of them had rockets and the rest had machine guns, which they began shooting at him with. But Victor Wolf had a minigun. He open fired on the officers, taking out some of the ones with out shields. Rounds started pinging off of his ship. "Time to try these missiles" Victor said, arming a rocket. With a press of the button, the Baker rocket streaked out of the pylon, and made a direct hit on an enforcer. The force of the blast rocked the Happy Slayer. "Those are some nice rockets" Victor thought, arming another. He fired a short burst from his minigun, and then loosed another rocket. This time, it hit a ship and just took out it's generator. The rest of the ships started to flee. "Not a chance" Victor said. He fired his minigun at the fleeing ships. Two of them got hit, sputtered, and then erupted in a ball of flame. Victor targeted the frozen ship, telling them to release their captain. "okay, okay! Here I come!" A lifepod come out of the ship, along with a couple others. "Well" Victor said "I can't tell which of you is the captain, so I'll just shoot all of the pods" He aimed… and open fired.
