New Footsteps SFXPack From IndieSFX

February 2010, Cheshire U.K. - Digital sound effects creator IndieSFX (www.indiesfx.co.uk) have released a new Footsteps SFXPack, a set of effects in spj format as used by their SFXEngine Software. The 20 unprocessed sounds are included in mono and stereo wav format too. Every character that walks needs a footstep sound, and these need to vary depending on the surface and context of the game. It's also important that each step is different to ensure variety and realism. This SFXPack supplies lots of basic footstep sounds, with layers and additional effects to easily create variety and allow quick modification for different surfaces. The pack includes 23 samples including 17 real footstep recordings, which can be modified or manipulated to produce realistic sounding steps or more abstracted sounds with relative ease. Additional environments are provided to help tailor the sound to a location; Canyonlike, Slow Steps, Tubing and Surreal Dream.
