New Melee Weapons Sound Effects From IndieSFX

May 2009, Cheshire U.K. - Game sound effects library IndieSFX (www.indiesfx.co.uk) have released a new set of hand to hand weapons effects, Melee Weapons. The set contains all-new sounds for bladed weapons (with variations), bows and other medieval weapons, punches, trap sounds, and impact noises. This set includes dry whop sounds and metallic clashes to make it relatively simple for sound designers to create new weapon or bladed trap effects. As part of the IndieSFX grand plan to create a complete and specialised game sound effect library, this set will ultimately replace the earlier set of dungeon sounds Knightlore. The sounds are unique in both sets however and for a limited period, Knightlore will remain on sale. As ever all of the sounds are original and created specifically for this set. Effects are exactly trimmed to silence with no compression or sound manipulation to ensure the highest quality standards. The Full IndieSFX Sound Effect Library is currently 26 sets big.
