New Arcade Sound Effects From IndieSFX

December 2008, Cheshire U.K. - IndieSFX (www.indiesfx.co.uk) the independent game audio specialists have released a new collection of arcade sound effects. 8-Bit Arcadia has the theme of retro arcade games and includes a large selection of white noise explosions, electronic ripple and sparkle sounds, arcade style bonus and pick-up noises, and the sort of laser weapon effects that featured in cabinet video games in the 1980's and 1990's. The set is rounded off with some Commodore 64 style musical instrument samples. As part of the goal to refine the quality of the unique IndieSFX library, this set was created as a replacement for the very first set of sound effects. That set, S001A Explosions and Arcadia, will remain on the site for a short time before being deleted from the catalogue. Like all IndieSFX releases, the sounds are original and created specifically for this set. Effects are exactly trimmed to silence with no compression or sound manipulation to ensure the highest quality standards.
