Customisation
If you're looking for original sounds specially created for your project, then you can hire IndieSFX. My standard fee in USD is $6 per sound for up to 25 sounds, and $4 per sound after that, with a minimum total charge of $50.

With a custom contract several free sounds are included as standard so that if, at the end of the project, you wanted to add extra sounds that you hadn't thought of then those wouldn't cost you anything.

All of the sounds would be unique, created specifically for you, and are supplied as standard as high quality 44100hz 16-bit stereo wav files or any lower resolution format you prefer. As a paying customer you would own an exclusive license to modify or use the sound effects as you want.

If you are just looking for one or two specific sounds then that's fine too.

The Creation Process
A detailed descriptive list of the sound effects you need and what they should sound like is essential. For the creation process, some information about the game or project and its atmosphere is useful too.

When working on a project it is useful for me to have a game video or a test version of the program. Some screenshots or a demo can also help in assessing the sounds required.

The turnaround time for the first draft of sounds is normally about a week.
